5 hours at the Day Respite Centre, a three course lunch, refreshments, fully trained staff and organised activities.
Yes. However, this is limited by the area we can cover and spaces in our buses. We would urge you to get in touch to discuss your own requirements.
We understand that many carers are looking after someone with complex needs and it may be that our Day Respite Centre would not be suitable to meet the needs of everyone.
If you are caring for someone with more complex needs we would urge you to contact us informally in the first instance to discuss these with our staff and they will advise you on whether the service would be suitable. We would endeavour to signpost you to an alternative service within Perth & Kinross if necessary.

The Care Inspectorate is an independent body which provides information about care services in Scotland, their inspection reports and their current grades are made available so that you can make an informed decision when choosing a care home or service.
In January 2018 our Day Clubs had an unannounced inspection from the Care Inspectorate. Two areas of the service were inspected and we are really pleased to report that we received a score of 5 (6 being the highest) for both Quality of Care and Support and Quality of Leadership and Management. Our scores are a grade up on our last inspection and are reflective of the hard work and care that all the staff and volunteers put into each day. We are super pleased to share this with you and if you would like to read the full report click here.
Our day services operate through funding from Local Authority, NHS and other charitable trusts. We are associated with the Carers Trust in Scotland and carers are able to seek guidance on services, support and information on a variety of topics and issues.
The day clubs are registered and inspected through the Care Inspectorate and have paid staff and volunteers who are trained and supported to provide a high standard of service. A copy of staffing requirements, inspection reports, policies and procedures are available in all day clubs. The manager of the service is also registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
