Full Service Universal Credit (UC) is to be rolled out across the whole of the Perth & Kinross area from 13th June 2018. If you are making a new claim for benefit (including help to cover rent or mortgage costs) or if you are in receipt of any of the following benefits and you have a change in circumstances then you will have to make an application for Universal Credit. However, there are exceptions to this are if you are living in supported accommodation or you have three children or more.
Remember anyone on a low income with capital of less than £16,000 may qualify for Council Tax Reduction. Applications can be made here.
