This is an opportunity for Carers to come together in an informal environment for support. An interesting and informative programme has been put together by the carers themselves and new carers are welcome to drop in.

Recently this group made the short trip to Arbroath where they visited MacKay’s jam factory. This provided them with an opportunity to purchase jams and chutneys which could be given as Christmas presents, where the carers were spoilt for choice. Then it was off for a traditional fish supper lunch.

The trip provided carers with an opportunity to support each other and have time away from the ir caring role. It also was a good chance to reminisce about the difference there is now in farming as they passed the different ways crops are gathered today compared to when they went to the tatties during the school holidays. A good day out was had by all as the photo on the left shows.
