The Carers (Scotland) Bill was passed by Parliament on the 4th February 2016 which began the journey towards implementing new legislation that promises to 'promote, defend and extend the rights' of adult and young carers across Scotland.
The Scottish Government are planning to consult on the first set of draft regulations for the Carers Act within the next few weeks.
